Busy week

Byron decided, after much hoopla and hair-pulling, to go ahead and set up his table at the fetish show last night. He did get J to sign the consignment agreement without quibbling, and I guess things went well from there. Big relief. No sales that I know of (adammaker and florilegia watched the table for him after he left last night), but the work was well received. Hopefully, it'll pull in some orders.

The really cool news is that By's boss had a chance to look at his leatherwork, and she was impressed. Enough impressed that she wants him to do a display at the annual show. That has great potential. He's also got a guy in KC who wants him to put together a trunk show; By's thinking maybe sometime in Oct...we'll be a little busy the next couple of weekends.

Robyn has also informed me that I WILL be showing temari at the annual show this year. I'd had some in the show a couple of years ago, and I guess someone remembered, and came to thegallery last week asking for some. So, I've got even more incentive to work on filling the show drawer.

Current show drawer count: 174 (I said I was busy last week--that's 20 balls! Adam, I heard that thought :) )
