Just read draco_kc's post on Shrub's deep desire to bomb Iraq. I must agree--why should we, as a nation, embark on this path? I'm suspicious of his motives; Iraq was one of his father's black marks. But what do I know? I'm just a groundskeeper (*sarcastic grin*)

Finished a large (for me, anyway) landscaping project at work today--3 trees, 45 flowering shrubs, and 8 cubic yards of mulch.....that all went through the #@#@#@ art building and into a courtyard. I'd ordered 4-5 trees, what I got were 8' tall. Oh boy. Three people, a truck, a forklift, and a wheelbarrow later, said trees were finally in the building and holes were being dug. Big holes. By hand--none of the power equipment fit through the doors. But it's done, and I can take it easy the rest of the week. Still have several dozen trees to water this week; I'll bring a book to work tomorrow.

The weather channel says there's a slight chance for rain this weekend. I think I'll do a rain dance when I get home tonight. I'm tired of watering trees. (Can we say bored? I knew you could.) Knowing my luck, it'll rain on the 22nd, which is when we'll be going to the KC Renfest with friends.

Finished two more temari last night--the count for the show drawer is now 156. I'm still behind.
