I took the back way home from work tonight, to get out of the traffic. Just on the outskirts of Bonner, where I've been seeing (I'm guessing) an old strain of beared iris bloom since August, there were still six flowers open. Quite odd, for two weeks into November.

I'm very tempted to stop and ask that house for a piece of that variety.

My suggestion is to do so. You can never have too many plants. ;)

Have I mentioned lately that you are no help?

And shouldn't you be studying?

:)

Perhaps they are well-adjusted. But iris need to be replanted every few years, don't they? The rhisomes don't have time to adjust well. Hmmmm.
