Brown and green caterpillar binding

Cord is there because this is a fairly loose binding, in that it won't sit square and closed without a little help.





3 1/8" long (excluding extra length from caterpillar) x 2' wide x 7/16" deep (including covers, excluding extra thickness of caterpillar). Four signatures, 128 pages. Same text paper as for the altoids tin book, folded the same way. Cover is cardstock wrapped in the green wrapping paper I scrounged from the fireworks boxes from July 4th, lined inside with ivory linen-textured paper (also from the dumpster at work). Stitched with brown perle cotton.

I am fascinated by books on a small scale, and this one both feeds my obsession, and allowed me to play with a new technique on a "getting-to-know-you" scale.
