Yarn Barn, for instance. I walk in, just for a #8 circ, harmless, quick....but nooooo, I end up walking the racks of mill ends, and end up in front of the alpaca section. Towards the bottom was a lovely light greyish brown 2-ply wool, quite fine, over two pounds of the stuff, for $13.57. All the wool I'd need to do the gossamer version of the lily of the valley shawl, and then some. But I walked away. Twice. The second time, with the yarn tucked under my arm, heading back to the needle rack to get an appropriately sized needle.
*sigh*
I am such an addict.
The good news is I got the recycling taken back, so that corner of the house is clean again, and I did get the #8 circ I went to yarn Barn for, so I can finish the U Can 2 shell, hopefully today.
