treeskinTWO THINGS FINISHED!!!!!!
#1. By's winter scarf....I knit until I ran out of yarn, and ended up with a wide scarf (about 15" or so) that's nearly 6' long. And according to the burn test, all wool.
#2. A dressy scarf out of the Rowan cotton tape yarn. It's only 63 yds per ball, so it's a very short scarf. Very very soft fabric, but I bet it will catch on things, so it's going to be a Yule present for someone.
Still working on the crocheted rugs. They're chewing large holes in my acrylic yarn stash, which is very good.
I now have a smaller stash of the CD books, as I took a bunch to show Mom and Grandma, and sent them home with Mom. (Yes, I checked them carefully before I packed them to ensure that the contents were Mom-safe.)
