Monday was the official end of the festival, so more crazy traffic issues.

By & I helped the trash crew pick up trash and recyclables in the afternoon, which was ....not fun, but the company was. Got to know T much better, and that was very cool.

We all ran down and enjoyed having the shower house to ourselves, then potlucked at Heretic Camp. It turned into a party, with everyone burning off steam. JC and Ashe lit some of Ashe's leftover pyrotechnics, we played drums around our little fire, and most of the crew got very very tipsy. Karen hosted Scotch breakfast--Oreos, plus 4 varieties of Scotch, then some different rums for the lightweights like me. Must remember to get pics from Chuck for Andy...he fell asleep in a chair beside the fire, and they put him in several sugestive poses with a 5' tall inflatable monkey, before waking the boy and sending him to bed. Had a VERY good time flirting with T and a couple of the other guys....would have gotten laid that night, but T had had too much Scotch, on top of not enough rest. Frank and I took him back to his tent, and I tucked him in. I stayed up a while longer talking to Karen and a couple of her friends, until about 3:30.

Tuesday after festival is the day to be at camp: it's almost deserted, quiet enough to hear the wildlife, and you don't have to dodge the fluffy bunny pagans anymore.

Was up by eight, went to check on T, who had been awakened by the crew that cleaned the porta-a-johns. Had cheerful morning sex, until his knee went out. I felt sooo guilty about that; he still had to do a final trash run, and he wouldn't sit in the truck and let us do the work. Actually, I still feel guilty about that; it's bad form to break your toys.

The final trash run was pretty disgusting. A couple of the bags were heavy and smelly enough to really make us wonder what, or who, was in them. Helped T break his camp and load his car, then had a quiet dinner with Ashe and Karen and Andy, cleaning up the leftovers in the cooler.

Spent the morning packing and loading vehicles. I made one trip home in my car, then unloaded and watered the garden. By & Andy made one trip with the firetending tools, and a second trip with our stuff. I've cleaned the science experiments out of the fridge, unloaded the keep-cool stuff into the now-spacious fridge, and done a little laundry. Not much, we were more caught up than I remembered.

I've got to go to work tomorrow, which is a bummer. But, it's only a 3-day week, and it's between spring and summer classes, so it ought to be mellow.

I know I've forgotten or left things out, but that's the rundown of the trip. Some of it just had to be seen to be described (like the inflatable monkeys and Chuck's growing collection of lawn-art flamingos).
