D the Annoying, revisited
Feb. 18th, 2004 07:15 amI got the full scoop of last Friday's events from Foreman this morning.
Supervisor had come in, had his meeting with D the Annoying, including Electrical Foreman as a witness--sad, but necessary, as D has an amazing talent for twisting things said to him into oppression and accusation. Like, Courtney and I were going to file harassment suits against him because I said in the meeting I didn't like the way he always refered to us as "the girls", and not by our names. I did say that, but all I meant was I was offended by it and thought it was rude. I did offer to take all this bullshit to HR, but Supervisor kept telling me not to (one of the reasons I don't entirely trust Supervisor to deal with things).
Anyway, this meeting was followed by a very cranky D calling Foreman AT HOME, at ten 'til seven, to complain (Friday being Foreman's day off, he was sleeping in...) and then leaving work in a huff. Later in the morning, Foreman came in the office to tend some things for the retirement party we're having this weekend for ExForeman, and while he was getting the update from Electrical Supervisor and Director, D storms back in, announces he's quitting, and rushes out again.
Then he called beginning of this week, wanting Foreman to put his accumulated part-time leave on his time card. Don't think so, buster. Have to talk to payroll yourself on that one.
Good riddance.
