You know, it doesn't bode well for the college to close after the first real snow of the season.

Although, cleanup certainly is easier without 10,000 people on campus.

Wait - they close the college, and you still have to go to work? awwwwww......That isn't much fun now, is it?

Yup, I gotta be here anyway. And it really is easier to clear sidewalks and parking lots without the students and faculty here.

I can't complain too much though.....when school is cancelled on my regularly scheduled work days because of weather, I (and all the other hourly full-time employees scheduled to work that day) get paid for a full day's work, and then, since I am required to be here shovelling snow, I also get paid for the hours I am present and working. So, double hours today. Which is ...pauses to do math in head...$26/hr. Not bad.

That's the way I always felt in Larryville. "Things would be so much cleaner and nice without all these people on campus." Every single day. Be safe!

Wish they'd closed my school. It took me forever to get here on Wednesday. Traffic was down to 20 mph on 70EB; I don't think they'd plowed at *all*.
