Remember that cobweb yarn I was fondly at The Studio? I was putting some stuff in my new yarn shelving, and lo and behold, there in the back of a cabinet was a pound-plus cone of a very very fine 2-ply wool, 20/2 size (just a little larger than the fine stuff I like to crochet with). So, I have almost everything I need to do one of those gossamer shawls.....

Can we say "addidct", boys and girls?

Wahoo! And you did not have to spend a dime. :)

We can say it...the question is, can we spell it? :)

*insert favorite rude gesture here*

I'm very excited....one of the sites selling patterns for the traditional "wedding ring" lace shawls had a free pattern that was very very tempting.

All I need now (besides the time and concentration, and someone to keep the kittens off) are a couple #0 circulars in different lengths.

Heh. The mohair scarf for Cole is six or eight inches long, now. :) I'm an addict too.

*chortles evilly* another one, caught.....

Not only do I have M good and addicted now, but she's off pimping yarn teaching knitting to new victims some of her friends. Pass it on!!

The bit of lace I started on the #0's is almost 8" across now. Bet there's more rounds in my eight inches than in yours *grin*
