More on Nemesis....Or, why my blood pressure's high today

Scene the next; occuring some weeks after our last encounter with Nemesis, and a day after Yours Truly has had a little talk with New Girl.

Synposis: Yours Truly has been stewing all day (and most of the day previous) about Nemesis' most recent instructions to New Girl, to whit: "You can use the Equipment, I dotn't really need it, just don't let Yours Truly use it." At first, Yours Truly gripes about enegy-wasting stupid petty bullshit, but after more thought (and stewing), Yours Truly is outraged that one employee is deliberately sabatoging another that way.

Yours Truly goes to Cheese's office and confronts Cheese about this information. Cheese, it seems knew about this, as did most of the other employees; no one had told Yours Truly. Yours Truly's reaction was predictably heated, given the number of times Yours Truly has asked Cheese and Bigger Cheese to deal with Nemesis' behavior, and the number of times nothing effective has been done.

Yours Truly asks Cheese about what will be done this time, and suggests that, if Cheese and Bigger Cheese continue to be ineffectual, maybe Yours Truly should write up a formal complaint and present it to Human Resoures. As has been the pattern in the Nemesis Saga, Yours Truly is told to wait until after Cheese has spoken to Bigger Cheese this afternoon (providing they do meet, the ball's been dropped at this stage before), and see what Bigger Cheese is willing to do.

Yours Truly is particularly incensed about this, becuase Cheese and Bigger Cheese were quite consciencious about making sure that Yours Truly was aware of all the options with the baseball team name-calling incident, while at the same time allowing an ever-worsening situation withing their own department to continue for three years. Yours Truly is now regretting Yours Truly's display of tact when The Poobah of Cheese spoke to Yours Truly about the baseball team incident. Maybe Yours Truly should have said something to TPOC about Nemesis at the time

Plot note: Nemesis was hired as a replacement for one of the regular groundskeepers about 5 years ago, puely at the insistence of TPOC, who felt Community College needed a horticulturist. Bigger Cheese and Cheese were told to allow Nemesis to do what Nemesis wanted, since Nemesis was the "expert". Nemesis has taken advantage of this lack of oversight, and hid behind TPOC's patronage. Hopefully, TPOC will eventually feel that Nemesis is about to make TPOC look bad, and in the style of politicians everywhere, leave Nemesis hanging high and dry.
