treeskinThe mother of a member of the treehouse construction crew called the boss this morning, looking for the tools her child took without permission. Gee, fancy that. She told the boss that "someone in a community college golf cart" told them it was okay to build where they were. Urk?
Not bloody likely. It's either (a) a story concocted by her lying little brat to get himself out of trouble, or (b) Nemesis is still playing his little sabotage games (unlikely, but still possible, I suppose).
The boss is going to talk to Mrs O when he delivers the tools (those that hadn't already been put to better use by the maintenance staff) , and let her know that her child and the rest were vandalizing college property. And if simply breaking the law isn't a big deterrant for Mrs O (and we've dealt with her before, she's a major pain), he's going to slip into the conversation some casual remarks about the staff seeing some poisonous snakes out there recently. See if he can scare her into watching her brat a little better.
Next time, and I'm sure there will be a next time, I'm not giving back the tools. I'll lie to the boss and say they got thrown away.
