They're saying now that, because the doctors had to go in through her abdominal wall, she'll be in the hospital for a couple of days longer than she'd expected. I'm still going west on Friday, I think; I'd like to spend some quality time with my sister when she's unemcumbered by child or spouse.

Grandma and (great) Aunt Ellen met Mom & Amy at the hospital this morning, but they drove up from Segwick, which is an easy day trip for two little old ladies. They'll likely be back Friday, Amy says.

I pity the nurses today; Mom's been 24 hours without a Pepsi. That's not good.
