Volunteers strike again
Feb. 17th, 2006 05:02 pmSo, we're going over the stuff that the volunteers did this morning, and conclude that no matter how hard you try, you can't make a process little old lady-proof.
The geranium cuttings, which Donna CAREFULLY made sure to bring out one color per flat, and each flat of cuttings labelled....they managed to get at least two flats' worth of cuttings (so, 4 or 5 flats, potted) mixed up, because they were splitting the flats of cuttings between them, and didn't notice the tags marking color.
AND...
They manged to take 3 pots of bromeliads, turn them into 5 flats of divided and potted bromeliads, and place those 5 flats back on the bench such that it took me a full 10 minutes to find them all and put them in once place. Because in little-old-lady logic, any open spot is the right place to put them back when you're done.
Arrrgh.
