Square count

I need to pull my squares out and count them, I've lost track, but I finished 3 last night, and one the evening before. I **think** I'm at 52.

52, holly shit, I'm still on 22. And with the end of the semester hitting in the next week i.e. two papers to write, on journal to fill out, and finals to take, And Russ starting to ship things home, and our Gem party, I am not likely to get to many done in the next couple of weeks.

I think someone said something about 6 months to finish. Or something like that. I'm halfway contemplating doing a whole bunch of extras, so I could do a second, smaller afghan for 1-person use in the living room. Or maybe a second full-size afghan. We'll see how long my ambition and yarn last.

Like I told Muriel above, I'm contemplating doing enough for two. I've got a metric buttload of yarn to use up, and the yarn is much more useful as a pair of blankets than as a pile of yarn.

Or, I'll have extra squares to subsidize if someone doesn't get enough done by whatever deadline we assign.

Besides, you're getting more done in a day than I am. I've got to try and keep up with you :)

Hang in there sweety. John and I are coming down tonight. It might be kinda late. If you need anything just call, I'm planning on bringing coffee and chai, and a shotgun (opps, outside voice). Tomorrow I will be five min. away if you need anything.
