I was just too busy to update yesterday, and it wasn't that interesting anyway. Grumpy, but not interesting. Too many interruptions, too much time spent re-doing stuff that the volunteers did Wednesday afternoon, because those two volunteers don't have sense enough to not pot up cuttings that don't have roots. I ended up more or less repotting seven flats of cuttings, pulled the two flats' worth that weren't rooted, fixed the rest so the plants weren't buried too deep, and generally scowled at the volunteers. Who we can't say anything to, except a gentle reminder to keep a better eye on that, because even though the volunteers are useless, they are very good PR. Grrrrr.

By got most of the show hung the past couple of days, and now all of a sudden Robyn's all fired up to get some new designs ready for the show. Which, I'll remind the audience, is next Thursday. (I'll put up an announcement soonish.) He's got to work all day this coming Saturday, and a half day Monday.

The Sock Report: Both socks are almosthalfway up the leg now. That translates to, I've completely reworked the sock that I'd ripped the entire leg out of, and it's caught up with the other now. I'm hoping to get some more done during my lunch break today. I've got enough chores to do tonight that I probably won't get to them tonight.

Square Count: 34/169 Plus, I pulled out a pile of patterns from my archive, so I can have some variety. Am contemplating a set of black and white squares, because I've got bunches of each color, and I'd love to get it used up.

Well...

I've got NO squares, as I don't crochet worth a darn, but I knit an entire hat for Steve last nite and this morning :) I'm extremely jealous of your kilt hose though...someday, I'll take it on....hee hee...I said IT...LOL!

Kilt hose aren't that hard, just time-consuming. And yarn-consuming, depending on who you're making them for. If you can manage toe-up socks, they're much easier, because you can try them on for fit all the way up the leg. (I've got good links for those patterns, holler if you want them.)

Yeah, I know they're not too difficult, it's the time I don't have for them. LOL! I've made myself a few pairs of socks and really love looking at the beauty that are kilt hose, my problem is that I take so long to make a pair of socks that my guage changes and they usually turn out a little different in size. LOL! Okay for me since I've been using that stuff with lycra, but I'd hate to make some to give to another person like that :) SURE send me the links anyway. I'll take a gander! Apparantly I'm rambly this morning...have finished a skull cap with a skull on it for Snakepix and have started a Yule hat for Ms Mo.
