To top the morning off, I managed to, during what was supposed to be a cheering phone call to the boyfriend, say something that upset him. So now I feel like a complete heel and failure.

Where's my time machine? I want to start today over.

It is now over half over. At least the day has that going for it.

No, not really. It is more than half over, and three other things have gone wrong since the last post. I just don't have the energy to type that set.

I'm at a point where I'm giving up on the day. I'm hiding in the office, ostentibly making a to-do list and researching insecticides. But really, I'm just trying not to think.
