Almost got caught up on sleep Monday night, only to be foiled by the lure of the latest Harry Potter, which I ruthlessly thrust away from myself at midnight. *sigh* Why is it all the fun things I really want to do take so much fo my sleep time?

Got an inch of rain at work yesterday, much more than at home, so no watering today or tomorrow. Drat. Now I've got to figure out what to work on in the afternoons. It'll be way too hot to do anything outside. And it's too windy to spray (and will be too hot, by noon). And we're down to one computer in the office, which really sucks. Hopefully, The Other Dave will get it fixed; getting help desk out here takes forever.

Had a pleasant evening at zerself's "meet my parents" potluck. Nice people, they were. Oh, by the way, zerself, there was a cd Don was playing, Richard Cheeves or something like that...what would it take to bribe one of your household to make me a copy? I'd be willing to trade a loaf or two of homemade bread.

I was out by the east driveway on College Blvd yesterday morning, with a big truck parked in the grass. The dark-haired gal with me was Courtney.
