First Sock Report of the day

Am 5" along on the second Aran sandal sock, and nearing the point to do the heel flap. It'd be uber-cool to have these done this weekend; not sure it's realistic, but it'd sure be cool.

Planted a bug in By's ear last night about what he'd want on a pair of Turkish socks. I've been thinking about it for a while, just hadn't come up with the "perfect" Byron pattern. I've got graph paper in the knitting bag today; I may play around a bit, rest my hands today. Also am wanting to come up with a pattern for Turkish socks for the boyfriend....contemplated putting a chaos star on his, to match his tat, bubt there's a limit to how much of that influence one wants in one's life. I will have to put a bug in his ear, too.

Ooooo, random thought: does the "boyfriend" curse apply in polyamorous relationships? He's the first serious lover I've taken since I've been knitting, and the first onee I've wanted to make things for. I'm almost afraid to go ask on knitting.
