The Kiri Shawl (links to pdf of pattern) is another one of those internet knitting bandwagons I just couldn't resist. And with a brand new, 4-oz cone of green Zephyr from Yule, I had the perfect yarn for a leafy shawl.

Knitted on #7 Denises, which are plasic, which made the whole business rather tricksy. Easily memorized repeat; it'd be a good first lace shawl pattern for those considering taking the plunge.

The last pic shows the size of the shawl, in relation to our queen-sized bed. It's huge, it's showy, and it drapes like a dream. Will try to get pics of it on me when I finally wear it out and about. I'd love for that to be when I do my hair green again, that'd be all kinds of fun...matching the hair to the lace!

Thank you. I'm very proud of this piece--it's an elegant pattern, and at the risk of sounding vain, I executed it very well. And it looks fantastic on.

As for where your mind was/is...that's old news, dear. You're a dirty old man, and that's part of why I love you.
