Things to finish, in order of how much time it'll take to finish them:
1. Fenna shawl--nearly done, probably finish it tonight.
edited to add: 1 1/2. The Microspun chemo cap in my purse. The boss has been around just enough today that I've not been able to get much done on it.
2. Aran sandal sox. Need about 4 hours' work to finish second sock.
3. By's black sweater. Needs half a sleeve, two seams, and a collar.
4. My Origami Kimono sweater. About half done with the body, haven't started sleeves yet.
5. The Sweater. Body is 1/3 done, first sleeve about half done, ready to start second sleeve.
6. Lily of the Valley shawl. Maybe 5% done. (This is a multi-year project, I'm afraid.)
I'm trying not to start new things until I finish more of the ongoing projects I'm running. So, having finished one large project last night, and expecting to finish another tonight, I'm really twitchy to reward myself with a new project. That said, these are the things I mean to start, some to be done concurrent with the projects above, roughly in order of finishing:
1. Another chemo cap in the rest of the white Polarspun. Quick project, will have done today or tomorrow.
2. Something lace-ish to finish up the cone of wool singles I was using for the just-finished Flower Basket shawl. Haven't decided what, yet, probably not shawl-sized. But I've got some very nice lace scarf patterns. Maybe that maple-leaf lace, then overdye it. Hmmm.....
3. By's Yule sox. Have the yarn already, have most of the pattern figured out.
4. Yule sox for
5. Something lace-ish in the green Zephyr yarn. It'll take me a while to make up my mind on what to make. I'm leaning towards a lace shawl pattern I downloaded a week ago, in a Shetland fir-cone pattern.
