Half past the long week

treeskinIf you were expecting to hear from us this week, and haven't, sorry about that. We're not ignoring people, we just haven't had time to sit down and type emails or make phone calls.
Made it through general cleaning Tuesday, cleaning s**t off Frank's bathroom floor Wed night (for the second Wed in a row), and rehearsal last night. By's show is tonight, for those we hadn't told.
Got my holiday work schedule Wed afternoon. I'm working next Mon & Tues, then I've got until Jan 5 off. Which is nice, but my only day off this weekend is Sunday, and we're playing Xmas carols at the retired nun's home in Leavenworth Sunday at noon. Sunday afternoon and evening will be the laundry marathon, so I can have clean clothes to wear the next day.
Not sure when we're going to Mom's. I haven't been home to call, on the evenings I know she's home. *sigh* Looks like Thurs or Fri next week, until the Monday after Xmas.
The Sock Report: Next to no time to knit. Did do a little bit, at the end of the work day yesterday, enough time to ick up gusset sts and do a few rounds on the foot of the second aran sandal sock. And I finished turning the heel and started the foot shaping on the first very tall sock last night, before bed.
