Feb. 24th, 2011 05:23 pmIt is a bottomless-mug-of-tea day. It is also tantrum day for The BoyChild. Who is crying and banging his head on the floor because I wouldn't let him play with the coffee pot.
My back yard looks like a photo of early spring in the Arctic--clumps withered yellow grass rimmed with frost, between nearly frozen puddles of rain and snowmelt, with more snow coming down. Blech.
I hope this storm doesn't hurt a couple of the almost-hardy things in the garden. Both were ok last week when it was warm, but their snowcover is gone and they're exposed to the weather. **crosses fingers**
