the boy's first haircut

His first awful, embarassing, Mom-haircut, to be precise. But it's out of his face and not bothering him anymore. The shorter length really sticks up, which By says his hair always did until he grew it long.

We've got a set of clippers, and we'll probably dig them out soonish and give him a more even "do". No one's likely to see him with bad hair, so I don't feel too bad.

It's amazing how much older he looks with his hair away from his face. He's suddenly a little boy, not a baby.

I have spent the day trying to get used to how The Bug looks with short hair. He looks so much more mature, not my baby boy anymore. **sniff**
