Nov. 10th, 2010 04:30 pmBy talked to Salvage Guy last night. He won't be back out until Saturday, and that with one (maybe both) of his sons. Grrrrr. SG's got somebody convinced that he's worth $20/hr, and he's off doing that because he wants cash, and he won't get the rest of the cash from us until the damn job's done. I'm so pissed that this is taking so long.
The Sock Report: Am an inch past the heel on the second sock for By's dad, and have selected a pattern to knit for his mom for Yule: Bergtrikot, by Margarete Dolff. Aren't these fun? And no, I don't read German, but the pattern link on Ravelry kindly includes an English version. I have half a notion of doing the adult size, and then trying to make a Miss-sized version. She'd dig the little bells, and she's already outgrown (!!!!!) the stripey pink knee-highs I made her back in August. Outgrown by 2 shoe sizes. **sigh**
It's another try-to-keep-the-kids-fed day. The Bug had a full cup of milk, two bowls of veggies and pasta, then extra servings of turkey ham, and then two bottles since. The Miss plowed through 3 bowls of lunch, plus cheerios and graham crackers, and three cups of milk. They both ate breakfast, honest.
Oh, and speaking of breakfast, those orange-cranberry bagels tasted as lovely as they smelled when they were cooking. Will try to post the recipe soonish.
