Mar. 29th, 2006 11:19 amCalled in sick this morning. I'm actually feeling a bit better than I did yesterday, but I've hit the "expectorating" stage of this bug, and I figured it'd count as a public service to keep my biological noises at home.
Poor By had to go from being sick himself to taking care of me, last night. Which he did, in wonderful style--I got home from class to find my comfy clothes warm out of the dryer, and soup and tea water ready on the stove. Thank you so much, honey.
Am spending the day resting, clearing out my lungs, and knitting. And baking...mustn't forget that. I promised By I'd make a batch of cheese-filled rolls for he and Cammie to take as road munchies to Norman.
The Sock Report: am halfway down the foot (on a cuff-down sock) of the first fluted bannister sock for Cammie. Note to self: sock patterns go really fast when you've done them three times :)
