Tried putting down more pre-em this morning; there was a walk-for-charity thing going this morning on the west side of campus, right where I wanted to work, had it not been too windy to do so. So now I'm procrastinating, waiting for the wind to die down (weather.com says probably after lunch), and ostensibly researching control measures for powdery mildew on buddleia, should the boss ask.

I have pledged myself to string tonight, as I've only done about a dozen rows on Clapotis the last few evenings, and nothing else. Too tired, too allergy-ridden to focus on anything else. But I really want to start finishing things, so I can start making more books to send with Albert and not feel guilty about the time away from my other string habits.

By didn't get the day at home with his tools yesterday--he had to go someplace by the zoo, to an awards luncheon to represent his boss (the award was for her landlord, who was recognized for being a long-term supporter of the arts in KC). Robyn let him spend the afternoon working on Richard's bar stuff in theh basement, which was nice of her. Not sure how far along that is--I'm sure he told me, but I'm not retaining information well this week.
