Rest for the wicked at last
Feb. 19th, 2005 06:37 amIt's raining, just enough to preclude work outisde unless something really serious comes up (not very likely in February), and the boss had to run home to pick up his wallet, which he forgot this morning. So, we get peace and quiet for another hour, at least. Radar still says it's supposed to rain all or most of the work day. *crosses fingers* I have knitting in my purse, and I'd like to do something with it today.
By's going in to supervise the crew that's working on Richard's new space this morning. I'm told Richard bought the Sandwich Shop, an eatery a couple blocks away, and is moving it next door. It's not going to be as dressy as the coffee shop, just comfortable and good food. That'll be a nice thing to have in the neighborhood.
Need to run errands tonight. Well, not exactly needful, but...I need *1* skein of an offwhite embroidery floss, to finish a normal-sized temari I started last weekend, and the latest issues of my knitting magazines are out, and we need some odds and ends from the store.
