Calm before the storm
Nov. 18th, 2004 07:04 amI'm hoping for a restful, rains-most-of-the-day at work today. *crosses fingers* I could use it.
Yesterday was Monday's revenge. The biggest offense: the office I was supposed to pick pearls up from was closed when I got there, so I drove from school to 115th and Nall in evening rush hour for nothing. (Apparently, the gal had told someone at Robyn's that she wouldn't be there on Monday when she called that the stuff was ready, but that part of the message didn't make it to By, and thus to me. I suspect a certain blonde incompetant someone, but that's just me.) And then lots of little things that just got on my nerves all day.
By came home fairly early last night, about 8:30, and we just sat and talked all evening. Was very nice. We stayed up later than either of us intended to, but the quality time was worth it.
We also had the house ot ourselves last night, which was cool. Frank was planning to be up late cooking, and went over to Nancy's to do it, since they keep a later schedule than we do.
