Which means washing and folding laundry. But not until Frank gets up, since his room is across the hall from the washer.

It's been a productive weekend. By & I went out to dinner Sat night, because we were both too tired to cook, then a quick trip to Half Price Books. That would have been a small trip, except that as the gal was taking our money, I noticed a picture book of kilim weaving on the art books table. Ooooo. By, being the wonderful spouse and enable that he is, pointed out that the store was having a sale, and I might as well get it while it was cheaper. I'm justifying it as design references for knitting (I can pull designs off the waving into socks, etc). Also got a quilt book for my sister for Xmas, and By found something on famr construction (barns and such).

Sunday we grabbed Frank, piled the recycling in thr truck, and off to Lawrence. We missed [livejournal.com profile] adammaker, but he'd kindly left that book table in the driveway for us. We left him the spiders that were on it, we have plenty here. Spent the rest of Sunday rearranging the living room. Got the spools cleaned off and removed, and my card table cleaned off and put away, then we moved two of Frank's chairs and that book table in. The shelves on the table are already full, about half books and half projects. Despite moving three pieces of furniture in, the living room looks more open than it did. The cats seem to like the change...each one can have his own seat or bit of table now.

Did a little mowing yesterday morning, a couple of times around my flower beds in the back yard. That was more work than it sounds; the grass is really tall. I'd meant to go around the beds in the front yard too, but my hands were numb by the time I got that far, and the last time I killed the mower, it was time to stop. I'd planned to go do more today, but my hands still feel bruised, so it will wait.

Frank's friend Nancy has been here since Sunday night, which is cool, she's good company. He took us all out to dinner last night, since we were all too tired to cook again, and it was late enough that cooking dinner would have had us eating at 9 or 10.

By worked for John part of the day and Robyn the rest yesterday. Robyn's got him the rest of the week, with Sat off (or so the plan is right now). He wasn't real excited about work today; Robyn's new business intern starts today, and By gets to find work for her. Oh boy.
