Today, we plant the rest of the trees around Child Care. Blech. These are bigger than I was expecting, and I'm tired and stiff from hauling them out there yesterday afternoon. AND, it's supposed to rain off and on all day. Double blech. I'm already tired enough that I sent Betty an email, telling her not to expect me at rehearsal tonight.

By spent yesterday tearing the roof off that warehouse. Robyn just doesn't have work for him, not right now. *crosses fingers* She's beating the bushes, looking for work, or people to sublet all or part of the building, but no word yet.

No knitting to report last night--too tired to knit. I started re-reading Seduced by Moonlight, then went to bed early.

Argh

I've got 7 of the 9 trees in the grounds, along with achy arthritic knees and hips (cold, damp air = bad), and a pulled muscle in my back. Not fun. Told the supervisor in charge today that I'd manage through the day, but I'd be sick tomorrow and Sat. (If I use sick time to nurse my sore back, I don't have to hassle with filing a report and doing the workman's comp BS, and it's not that big a deal, it just hurts like heck when I move more than my fingers.)

I'm sitting down to lunch late today, too, because just as I was grabbing my lunch box Director of Facilities Planning calls me up to the Student Center for a meeting about where to place a memorial tree. "Somewhere else" was not the correct answer. Bother. And the people buying the tree only want to pay $70 for it. Cheapskates.
