Tonight's the night
Nov. 20th, 2003 12:03 pmI can't wait for the show to be over. It'll be fun, tonight, seeing all the new stuff By's been talking about the past month, but I'm exhausted, he's exhausted, and all I can think about is sleeping in on Saturday morning.
I've had a hard time not falling asleep at work. Courtney and I hid in the other shop, upstairs, and made it look like we were doing paperwork most of the morning. We weren't, but we looked busy, and gossiping kept us awake. Good enough.
Only got a couple rows knitted on the Faroese shawl last night. Too tired to do more, and too many other things that had to be taken care of.
By didn't get home from work until after 11pm last night. Said he was supposed to have left at 9:30, but there was just too much to do. I'd stayed late last night and picked flowers from Donna's beds, and had put three nice bouquets together. When By got home, there are a big Hershey's Special Dark candy bar waiting in front of a little blue vase with a bright melon-orange rose, dark red snapdragons, pale pink verbena, dark pink dianthus, and spikes of lavender. He was pleased.
I brought my show clothes to work with me; the plan is to change here and head to Robyn's. Ought to give my coworkers a thrill. They were moderately freaked last year, when I painted my fingernails in the shop.
