Last night was lazy food night
Sep. 4th, 2003 10:54 amWe had trailer-park cuisine for dinner--fish sticks and breaded mozzerella sticks. You know, the kind of stuff that tastes really good, once or twice a year. I am eating lots of carrots today as pennance.
Had a talk with the supervisor this morning about the complaint I filed last week (reference the last Nemesis entry). He says he's not doing anything about it just yet, "because I need to research it and get some more facts. Then we'll sit down and have a meeting."
***insert favorite rude gesture here***
So I'll wait and not go up the hill for now. I'm still going to write and date the formal complaint letter I started last week, and keep it in my personal files until Nemesis does something else particularly stupid.
Speaking of stupid, we're now supposed to be observing and recording stuff on a couple of part-timers. The lead groundskeeper told me today that if we get three more documented incidents on each of them, we can get rid of them. About time! One he sent home for the day, partly because of how late he showed up, partly for refusing to do the work that was needed.
More later. Must surrender the computer to its rightful user, who is now back from lunch.
