Good for a laugh
Jan. 17th, 2003 11:35 amFollowing is the procedure I have to go through on snow-clearing days, just to go to the bathroom:
1. Take off gloves.
2. Take off hat and scarf.
3. Take off coat.
4. Take off sweatshirt.
5. Take off bib overalls (the sweatshirt on top keeps me from getting snow down your britches, need I say more?)
6. Go in to bathroom (bathroom in shop isn't big enough for the pile that steps 1-5 generate).
7. Peel down to bare skin--it's not that cold, so it's only 2 pair of pants today.
8. Do my business.
9. Carefully, replace layers from step 7--be sure everything is tucked in right.
10. Replace layers from steps 1-5, in reverse order.
11. Go back out and resume shovelling.
