I already had most of an update done, and it vanished on me. Grrrr.
Chatting on IM tonight with Woody and his girlfriend, who is a lively wench that I rather like. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet her in person.
Spent last night on the phone with Brenda. I stitched temari, she was laying out pieces for a dress, and we kept each other company. I miss having her close enough to visit regularly.
By said he didn't get home last night until after 1am, and wasn't in bed until almost 2. But the auction went well, and he said they sold some work from the gallery too, which is nice. And a couple people took information and said they'd be back. *crosses fingers*
We both slept in today, until the hungry cats finally demanded their breakfast. Today was errand day--took the recycling in and did some shopping. Half Price Books had a nice selection of old knitting magazines for a buck each(yes, they followed me home, I'm very predictable aren't I?) Also got a DVD of Matrix Reloaded, and t-shirts for By. And lumber, to finish the harps he's been working on since before we bought the house. Ad $5 worth of iris from Home Depot, because I just couldn't resist the color.
The Unsock Report: Only finished one temari last night--the shaded blues and white one. Finished two teenies in the car today, and got most of a third one done. Part of the Walfart trip was for styrofoam balls, two 4" diam and one 6" diam. I'm going to start working up in size, try some really intricate patterns on a large base.
