Hi. breathofgold pointed me your direction, as a fellow KC knitter. I don't use my livejournal much (or, any journal lately, to tell the truth....too busy working on the holiday knitting!) but wanted to say "hi."

In the interest of full disclosure, I don't know breathofgold. She was pointed my direction by someone I've known since junior high (who isn't speaking to me for some unknown--to me--reason).

Anyway, I have VERY few knitting friends (like, one, not including my daughters) and am always up for meeting new people. I'm on ravelry as "crackedmirror" if you're over there.

Anyway, "yay" for knitting :).

I don't get much knitting done lately, because I've got a 3-month-old daughter, and I don't blog as much, either. But welcome on board. Most of my string-geek friends are the folks I taught to knit or crochet or whatever, and they're in grad school and very very busy.

I did finally make it onto ravelry, I'm treeskin there too, but so far all I use it for is the finding of new patterns. I can do that one-handed while I hold the baby, and it's knitting-related, so it feeds some of the urge when I can't knit :)

I have a few of the patterns I've designed (all crochet, I think) here on lj under knit4food.
