Playing hooky

treeskinI called the boss Monday, and told him I needed another day. (I didn't outright SAY I was still in Lincoln, what he believes is his business). But I do need another day, if only to recover from the abuse I've done my hands the last two days--3 hrs hoeing in the garden, on top of 2+ hrs tilling--and Mom's news Monday evening.
So, what do I start last night? Another large temari (not good for my hands). Twelve colors, interwoven until the background doesn't show at all. And the first hour and a half spent scratching my head going "you want me to what?".....I got the first and most of the second layer done last night; it's starting to look like something now.
