Last night
Dec. 17th, 2005 08:29 amUp too late again, but the movie was good. Although, I've got a nit-picky question for anyone who's already seen Narnia ...Was it just me, or did the seams on the costumes, especially the girls' dresses, need a good ironing? They just looked like they weren't laying right, like a little kid's dress-up costumes. And what was with the Winter Queen's bodices???? Loved her hair, but her dresses scared me.
Now that that's out of my system....
Had an uneventful drive to work. There was about 1/4" of snow on the ground at home when I left, maybe an 1/8" here. Still snowing, though. And the building's cold. Must dream up something warm for dinner tonight.

Oh, and do you think that Mr. Tumnus' red scarf was 1x1 rib or stockinette?
And did you notice that Susan's cape was KNIT??? You can see the ribs stretching over her shoulder at least once.

But it's basicly (k1, k the next st into the row below)across. It's a very stretchy stitch, and it would give that look if done loosely. Might have to experiment.
Didn't look that closely at Susan's cape. I'd meant to, but got distracted by the seams. I'll check it out when we get the dvd.
