By the way, Cat, I've got LOTS of yarn you could use, if you want to play. I'd dug out two large bins of acrylic stash for this, and 82 squares has not made that big of a dent in the bins. And I've got more in the back room. Maybe not all the best colors, but with creativity and a couple of well-chosen ombres, they look decent.

Just one little square now, it won't hurt. Just an hour. They're very relaxing :)

I counted my squares last night, I thought I had 25, I only have 24, I better get busy. Hmmmmmm, homework, nap, or squares?

If you have to ask the question, obviously, the proper answer is a nap. String is best enjoyed well rested.

The critter patrol won that debate, nap it was. Now food and then string. Do you need anyone to check on the cat's while you are gone?

The fur children have just demonstrated that they cannot, in fact, catch and kill their own food. (Read here: the mouse escaped under the fridge. Hopefully, not too damaged, or the kitchen will stink when we get back.) So, we'll leave them 3 days' worth of food in the bowl, plus a little bit, and extra water. That's what we usually do; our pets are pretty good about pacing their food intake, and not gorging until the bowl's empty.

But thanks much for asking.

Has anyone mentioned to you lately that it's not nice to confuse the hobbit?

Well, I believe that once you open the package and peruse the contents, you will understand why I thought it was perfect for you. :-)

(if nothing else, it will start next week off with a spot of joy for you)
