Sock and kilt hose patterns for Khrymzon

The basic, toe-up sock pattern I use for almost everything is Judy Gibson's Generic Toe-Up Pattern. It's pretty simple, and her charts work for most gauges of yarn. Once you're at the leg, you just do whatever increases you need to do to make the leg fit. Add cables, etc, as desired. But--if you're adding cables, try it on the recipient more often, because cables will make the fabric draw in more, and it won't be as flexible.

I went looking for the online kilt hose patterns I had saved a while back, and most of them aren't out there anymore. Vexing. I'll have to dig what I saved out and copy those for you. HEre are the ones I did find:
Piper's Popcorn Top Kilt Hose
John Anderson's Kilt Hose
Porthole Cable Socks--not strictly kilt hose, but the leg could be extended into kilt hose length easily.

And in making kilt hose, try not to have a person with calves the size of other's thighs. Jera is working way too hard on these and I really appreciate it!

Speaking of which....when will you be available for another fitting? I'm almost at that point again.

And it's not the size of your calves dear, it's that you have lovely, muscled and curvy calves, that complicate theprocess.
