Didn't get home until after 11 last night, but it was sooo worth it. Sleep dep'd today, I still think it was worth it.

Our not-so-little group of friends/family went to see Yamato last night. I'd expected very good drumming, I hadn't expected the humor, or the very delicate strings and flutes that went with some of the pieces. Hadn't expected to be the most formally dressed bunch in the place, either...you know, Carlsen Center, Johnson County, you'd think those rich ol' folks would dress to impress a bit more. But they didn't, and we did, and we got noticed :) Seven of us, ladies in skirts and heels, Jana and Cammie in corsets, By and John in tuxes, Tristan and Scott in very nice suits. Compared to the Johnson County-ites, who were mostly wearing business casual. Or just casual. Slackers. That show deserved to be dressed up for.

I'd suspected that Tristan would clean up nice; it was really fun to see him dressed up, and be able to take him out and show him off.

I suppose I ought to brush my hair and go work today. That is why I'm paid to be here.

I had the best time last night, that was one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen. And I love to play dress us. Thank you for letting us know about it, and taking us along. We really had a great time.
