treeskinJust a quick update, while I'm waiting for contractors to get here. **twiddles thumbs** Hadn't expected them for a couple of weeks; I thought the paperwork through purchasing would take longer. Oh well.

draco_kc came over for dinner and use of By's tools. Stayed up too late last night, but that's ok. I don't have that much planned this week.
By's boss hits a major milestone birthday in April, and he's wanting to give her something very special. We decided to do that many small temari, and a nice lacquered box to put them in. That added an oh-so-dangerous stop at Michaels on Sunday....temari bases, some thread, needles, the box, plus some decorative paper to cover books with. I've got 15 temari done already, all in various shades of purple. And this project has got me thinking...my grandmother turns 80 this December, and my sister and I have been trying to come up with something very special for that. Sis is talking about getting photos of Grandma's siblings from one of our great uncles, and doing a memory quilt. I'm still planning to do the hand-bound book of card games for Mom and Grandma, but that was more for Xmas. We'll see how much I get done. We've got a lot of projects coming up this spring and summer.
Hmph. Contractors still aren't here yet. Gee, what else happened this weekend? Besides Spats yarking up more half-digested cat food than I thought a cat's stomach could hold....at least it was on the linoleum. Nothing else worth typing about.
