Didn't get near enough sleep last night.
Spent yesterday doing snow, which wasn't too bad. The worst of the stuff had melted or hardened before the wind started blowing yesterday afternoon, so we weren't recleaning the same spots over and over. Cold, though. Then By calls around 6, says he's on his way home. And again around 7, saying the truck broke down (in the parking lot, thank goodness). Turned out to be the idler pully....someone he knows was fixing it, said it'd be an easy thing to fix, except they found out what was wrong about 5 minutes after the parts store closed. While Fred was fidling with the truck, By stayed late and helped Robyn move stuff into the gallery for tonight's show. The truck is still in her parking lot; she let By drive her minivan home last night. So, we didn't end up going to bed until after 11.
And I told Robyn I'd come to the show tonight and play cashier, which means packing my presentable clothes and makeup (yes, I do own makeup), and changing before I leave work. I'm halfway planning on playing hooky from work tomorrow, but I'd told Donna I'd be here, and that we'd work on her rose order if she came in tot he greenhouse tomorrow. Which would mean another early morning and late night, since we're going to watch draco_kc compete for Mr Leather tomorrow night.
Sunday, I'm taking a nap. A really long nap.

Date: 2003-02-08 06:23 am (UTC)The show wasn't bad....more people than usual for a First Friday, but she had sent out flyers for this one, hoping to drum up more business. Unfortunately, think most of the folks there thought it'd be like the annual show, and acted more like it was a social event. Not much by way of sales last night. Lots of interested looks, and guys making notes when their wives weren't looking....with any luck, they'll come back and buy next week
