(no subject)

In the past hour, my son has:
* dump my purse and strewn the not-inconsiderable contents all over the floor of my bedroom
* emptied a large box of fabric on top of the purse mess
* completely unrolled 2 full spools of sewing thread all over the living room and kitchen
* tipped over a 2-drawer file cabinet and started dumping its contents
* dumped the box of patterns on top of the file cabinet

This is not a day that lime popsicles can fix.
