The Miss is into her *fourth* bowl of oatmeal-and-applesauce this morning. She is, finally , slowig down.

The new window is glorious in the morning. And even though it's not completely sealed in yet, it's made 5-degree difference in the temperature of the house.

The new window has become reality tv for the kids today--Salvage Guy and crew were back at 9am and the kids have had a good time watching them work.

I have a small knitting commission, a pair of knit hats, sized for BJD's. And the same person is interested in sweaters for her dolls. That'll take some research, see if I can get reasonable prices.

Think I forgot to mention that By delivered the doll armor Sunday morning, and it was well-received. I'll try to get pics up when we get them

Called Mom last night, she is well-medicated now, and sounds much better. Which is a huge relief-this allergy thing turned into pneumonia last year and put her in the hospital.

The kids are finally napping, the construction was very distracting.

* siding done on the west wall, from the north corner to the front porch
* windows installed in the front porch
* trim installed on most of the windows, and they're being caulked and painted
* Byron is installing the first of the new bedroom windows
* the siding crew has skipped the front porch and resumed on the rest of the west wall
* Salvage Guy is siding the front porch

They're hoping to get a start on the roof over the front porch today.

The new window is smeared, a little ways up, with finger and nose-prints from the kids, who're really enjoying today's episode of "construction tv".
