First between-tank break (which means I've already sprayed 25 gal of Roundup), and I'm just starting my first can of Coke. New Boss was in a toot this morning, so I didn't get to enjoy my Coke and wake up more gradually. Stupid boss.

Work the rest of the day will depend entirely on how long the weather cooperates. As long as the wind's under 10mph, I'll be out spraying. Joy.

By's got to work late tonight. Late = he went back to bed after I left, and intended to be up and to work by 11. They're hosting an artists' reception for the surface design group tonight, and the gallery will be open. In the interests of using and abusing the intern, the intern gets to help sit the gallery tonight, too. By's not amused. (Note to self: make sure there are rum and Coke fixin's waiting for him when he gets home tonight.)

Didn't get much knitting done last night. Got home from work, laid down on the bed next to Baggins, and woke up an hour later when By walked in the bedroom, with Baggins asleep on my back. Spent half the evening in my chair cuddling Tuffy and dozing. Did wake up enough to get By to try on his kilt hose again, and make notes about where those need to go for the next 2-3". Hope to get more knitting done tonight; I've a small project that would be all kinds of fun to play with Sat night, and I think I can finish it tonight if I stay awake.

75 gallons of Roundup so far--which is about half of what still needs sprayed on campus. But I'm catching up.

Had an umpleasant surprise this morning. Seems there's a big to-do this weekend in the park just south of us, and we're going to have spillover onto our parking lots. I guess Maintenance Director didn't find about it until this morning, either. He'd thought it was supposed to be cancelled, then presto, here they are. Grrr. I really don't like having these groups on campus; they always make such a mess.

Still no news on the greenhouse job. Donna says she's still waiting for the confirmation that they've got the funding, which should come (if it's going to) after July 1. **crosses fingers**

100 gallons of Roundup for the day, and I think I'm done. Still got two hours left, but hey, I've already been plenty productive.

My elbows are a shade darker than the rest of my arms, because I've worn the almost-elbow length chemical glove all day. I'm now the amazing striped person!
