Apr. 12th, 2005 06:59 amIt's Tuesday, and I'm at work for the second day this week--can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture? (Besides the fact that I'm even AWAKE at this hour on a Tuesday, let alone dressed and 25 miles from home...)
Yesterday's meeting with the architects ran until 5:30, so I didn't leave work until nearly 6pm. Gak. Learned that Vice President is as bad about his "knowledge" of trees as Maintenance Director is about planting that #@$)*# wheat as a cover crop everywhere on campus. Double gak. And because they're the bosses, they're always right, whether they are or not.
And I get to go do it again this morning. Joy.
I'm sure I'd be more cheerful if I'd had my day of down time over the weekend. Went from work to the Charlesworth's Saturday, and was there until 10pm entering stuff for registration, Sunday was the (surprisingly productive) HSA meeting, and Monday was work.
Oh, yeah...HSA stuff....as of July, I will take over as secretary, which is cool, I think. (Won by a healthy margin, too, which was good for my ego.) Having to actually pay attention and be official during the meetings will but in to my knitting time, though. Our group was joking after the meeting that this is the first step towards Heretic Camp World Domination...we can now count two officers and three board members among the Heretics. Kinda cool.
