Tree pr0n!
Mar. 18th, 2005 01:45 pmI got the new catalog from Oikos Tree Crops last night--natives and exotics and hybrid oaks, oh my! Needless to say, I got little done yesterday evening, or today at work, because I'm stubbornly staying in that little place of rapture that is a fresh plant catalog.
(Well, that and I was very tired last night, tired enough to fall asleep in my knitting, which was very embarassing. And inconvenient, because I was knitting on Kiri last night, and that yarn is slippery, and dropped stitches want to stay dropped, and ladder all the way down. Guess I got spoiled, knitting lace in the wool singles yarn, which stuck to itself, so that dropped stitches didn't slide away.)
Spent an hour and a half at the greenhouse after work last night, and got 8 plug trays seeded, mostly marigolds. Plan to spend that long over there tonight too. Definitely going to call in sick tomorrow; the rest will be nice, even if I don't get the gardening done that I'd like to.
