How hard is it
May. 14th, 2004 01:41 pmto pull 4 flats of purple petunias, 4 flats of cherry petunias, and 2 flata of lavender petunias out of the greenhouse, load them onto the truck, and deliver them?
This year's supplier has screwed it up twice now. In one day. I started the morning with 8 flats of cherry, 2 flats of purple, and no lavender. While I was out planting other stuff from the delivery and (I thought) waiting for a callback from the sales lady, they came back, took the cherry petunias and left 2 more flats of purple and 6 flats that are labelled lavender, but are blooming purple.
I just talked to the manager, who is sending the truck out one more time. With "samples" to show me that there isn't much difference between the purple and lavender shades in this strain of petunia. I know that already, I've grown them before. Grrrrr. All I want is the stuff I put on the order form, that can't be that hard.
