After counting EIGHT TIMES last night, I reached the conclusion that the stitch count on the beige sweater (front only, of course) was irreparably wrong. Don't ask, I don't know how I managed to do that and Not Notice until the neckline shaping. Argh. I pulled the needle out and chucked the thing in a bin. I'll rip it out and do something else with the yarn later. When I'm not mad at it.
I started a shawl for Myrna to console myself--a mauve/pink wool out of the stash, in a variation of Barbara Walker's seafoam pattern. All garter stitch, easy and reversable.
Went to Lawrence last night to meet Meg and Andrew for dinner. Andrew was his usual charming self through most of the dinner.
Got enough rain at school that I won't need to water much, if at all this week. Yippee. Now I have a chance to catch up on weeds/etc.
